Indeterminacy

I have been researching how the finishing of work can be dependant upon anticipation and chance.
Since 1969, Dove Bradshaw has pioneered the use of Indeterminacy – whereby the resulting work is unpredictable and unexpected; a product of a process deliberately out of her control. Her work is diverse; encompassing sculpture, painting, performance, film and familiar chemical solutions normally associated with jewellery or metalwork practice.

This has led me to experiment with enamel acting as a canvas to trap the deterioration and patina that occurs over the passing of time.
